The Climate Health Collaborative!

Calling all students/healthcare professionals/partner organizations interested in the intersection of climate and health!

The Climate Health Collaborative explores the connection between human and planetary health through a monthly meeting that includes initiative building, STEM opportunities, and discussions with global health leaders.

What can you expect from CHC?

- Youth-led initiative exploring the intersection of climate change and human health

- Meetings highlighting scientists advancing climate and health equity

- Opportunities to explore other areas of interest.

Youth Video Competition: Submissions under Review

SVYCA partnered with Climate Smart San Jose, CreaTV, and the Tenacious Group for a Climate Smart Youth Video Competition.

Submissions have closed and we're excited to showcase the incredible videos from our young climate leaders! Join us for an inspiring evening as we screen the finalist entries and celebrate youth climate action.

Key details:

  • Prize: The top 10 videos will receive cash prizes ranging from $250 to $500.

  • All participants will receive recognition from the City of San José.

  • Open to middle and high school students in San José

  • A screening of the winning videos will be held in January 2026 at San Jose City Hall chambers.
