Cupertino Youth Climate Action Team Wins CREST Award!

A big congratulations to the Cupertino Youth Climate Action Team of SVYCA for winning the prestigious CREST Award from the City of Cupertino! The Cupertino Youth Climate Action Team has truly brought change to their community through their advocacy efforts to combat climate change.

When this team started a few years ago, they may have faced resistance due to their young age, but through much advocacy, hard work, and stakeholder engagement they are finally taking their seat at the table.

A student on this team recently said, “City Staff and Councilmembers mention the Cupertino Youth Climate Action Team often—they know the team means business!”
