Cupertino Team Joined Earth Day Festival!

SVYCA’s Cupertino team had a successful day tabling at Cupertino’s Annual Earth and Arbor Day Festival on April 23rd. At our booth, we handed out fun stickers designed by member Chloe Kwon, spread the word about our organization, recruited new members, and had a wildly popular and fun junk art project. Kids repurposed junk sourced from our members and schools to create fun and imaginative creations, spanning from boats, trains, and planes to birds, monsters, and musical instruments. They also added animals, leaves, and flowers to our newspaper tree. Over ~250 festival goers visited our booth and learned about our impact!
